My favourite national trust property, probably because its the only one I could actually see myself living in

One of our favorite cafes, lovely food and great cakes. Friendly staff and nice coffee. Plenty of parking with beautiful gardens.

It was beautiful as always. The gardens still had lots of flower in bloom, so it was really colourful. The gardeners were helpful with information about plants and their names. The house is magnificent, it is the best NT house. It is beautiful but also cosy and livable.. I could move in tomorrow,( in my dreams) An absolute must to visit

Lovely, superb, wonderful, great experience, all words that relate to the staff, volunteers, gardens and grounds, inside the house, the history, parking. Just wonderful.

Beautiful gardens and fascinating house preserved in its original art deco form. Good cafe with a limited selection of dishes.

What a fabulous house and stunning gardens! Absolutely loved it here. The gardens were outstanding and so well maintained. A pathway led down to the sea and coastal path. Would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the Torquay area.

Great cake and a great place to have a coffee. Near to the parking and situated next to the entrance. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

House lovely art deco, gardens so colourful in June, about the best we have ever seen. Cafe very good for light lunches, coffee or tea too. Super day out.
